Swain, Jackson, and Macon County Schools and Fontana Regional Library are partnering to support students’ ongoing education. We share the belief that a love of books and learning is a strong foundation for student success and we are working together to provide every student access to books and resources found at their public library.
StudentAccess is a free project that allows your students in Jackson, Macon, and Swain Counties to access Fontana Regional Library print and electronic resources using their school ID (lunch number), without needing to visit their local library to set up an account.
Students now have access to eResources and library databases and can borrow up to 10 print or audiobooks from their local public library. There are no overdue fines for student accounts, but students are responsible for any fees on lost or damaged books.
