Four Ways To Support Your Library
 

1. Contribute to Our Endowment

A gift to the Fontana Regional Library Endowment invests in the future of public libraries throughout our three-county region. Your contribution will ensure the library system has the capacity to build on its successes and opportunities, or to buffer against the difficulties of times when governmental funding is short. 2. Designate Your Gift for Books, Computers, Programs and More...

Your donation helps keep new materials on the Library shelves, helps keep computers running and helps maintain our programming. All donations are tax deductible. Find out what your donation can do - click here for more information.

3. Support Programs for Children

Your contribution to the Fontana Regional Library Gift Fund gives the region funding to support more immediate service needs. The primary use of the Gift Fund is to support the Reading Rover and other Outreach Services to children. In a region where a significant population of adults struggle with poor literacy skills, library efforts to engage children in the fun of reading are essential. Children growing up with parents who don’t use or enjoy books are much less likely to be read to and subsequently the odds are against them being equipped with strong pre-literacy skills when they enter kindergarten. The public library plays a critical role in reaching children early in order to open the door to the world of books and build a strong foundation for learning. Demand for our existing service is greater than our resources can provide. Your contribution will help keep the Reading Rover on the road in your county, as well as help purchase a smaller vehicle to expand service to in-home childcare providers and children in elementary, after-school programs. 4. Give to Your Local Library

Donors also have the opportunity to support an individual library within the Fontana Regional Library system. If you are interested in contributing to an individual library, please contact the librarian for more information.
