Women in Science Career Fair

Macon County Public Library will host a Women in Science Career Fair for families, children, and teens to learn more about science career opportunities on Thursday, September 14th from 6:00-7:30 PM.  The Women in Science Career Fair is an official event of the NASA @ My Library grant that the Fontana Regional Library recently received.  The event is free and does not require registration.

At this event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet female scientists and learn more about a variety of scientific fields.  To encourage kids and teens to speak with the scientists, the library will give a small prize to attendees who stop by at least 5 women-in-science stations.
