The Hudson Library, Inc. is a private
non-profit corporation with a working Board of Trustees. This board
conducts fundraising activities to raise money for materials, furnishings,
and ultimately, a new building for the library. The semi-annual cooking
classes are one of the most popular fundraisers. Local restaurant chefs,
caterers or excellent cooks donate their time, expertise and food to
provide delicious seminars for participants.
They operate the Bookworm (pictured above), a used
book store located on the lower floor in the Peggy Crosby Center (just
up the hill from Highlands School) on 5th Street in Highlands. Bookstore
hours are Tues-Sat 10 am - 4 pm.
Making a tax-deductible donation is a thoughtful, long-lasting way to
honor or remember friends and support the Highlands community. Contact
the Library for information on how to make a donation.
